Gravity Ring: A Unique Blend of Art, Science, and Jewelry

Designers Sareh Heidari, Hesam Ghasimi and Mahdy Seyfi Create a Masterpiece

The Gravity Ring was inspired by the falling apple and Newton's discovery of gravity. The designers wanted to create a piece of jewelry that was not only beautiful but also stimulated the wearer's mind and encouraged them to think about the world around them. The ring is designed for everyday wear and is meant to promote a sense of thinking and reasoning.

The ring is made up of three parts: the main part is a gold tree ring, an apple and apple ring made from white gold with a grade of 18, and embedded rails on a 360-degree axis. The ring was designed using Matrix jewelry design software. The size of the ring varies depending on the user's request, and the apple branches are connected together to minimize sharp edges.

The Gravity Ring was designed in January 2017 in Tehran, Iran. The design team, consisting of Sareh Heidari, Mohammad Mahdy Seyfi, and Hesamaldin Ghasimi, faced the challenge of creating a ring that was both conceptually and hedonistically designed. They wanted the ring to be more than just a piece of jewelry; they wanted it to be a symbol of thought and discovery.

The Gravity Ring is not just a piece of jewelry, but a symbol of thought and discovery. It is a reminder of the falling apple and Newton's discovery of gravity that changed the world. The apple, nestled among the skirts of the ring and inside white rings that rotate 360 degrees, symbolizes the apple falling from the tree.

The Gravity Ring was awarded the Silver A' Jewelry, Eyewear and Watch Design Award in 2017. This prestigious award is given to top-of-the-line, creative, and professionally remarkable designs that illustrate outstanding expertise and innovation. These designs, admired for their strong technical characteristics and splendid artistic skill, showcase a remarkable level of excellence and introduce positive feelings, amazement, and wonder.
